COVID-19 UPDATE PLEASE NOTE:Summer 2021. We will continue to offer all services at our office.  We continue to monitor and observe changes in CDC protocols.  PLEASE NOTE:  PER CDC REQUIREMENTS:  MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS IN HEALTHCARE SETTINGS REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.  As usual, all exams are performed by appointment only.  Please check in at our reception desk at your appointment time with a mask. Please come alone, unless it is a minor child or a disabled adult that needs assistance. Please do not bring food or drink into the office. Product pick-ups can be performed with or without appointment.  Product pick-ups can still be performed curbside (outside) without appointment if requested. We continue to limit the occupancy of our office to ensure the safety of patients and staff in this pandemic. It is always best to call our office with questions regarding this policy prior to traveling to our office.  Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, but please be assured that we are available for all services.

We are happy to announce our modified re-opening! We hope this finds everyone safe and doing well. We have missed seeing all of our patients and are excited to help everyone with their needs. We want to share our updates and what we have done to ensure safety for patients and staff and how our office protocols have changed in these challenging times. We are contacting all patients to reschedule their previously scheduled appointments that had to be cancelled.

1- We will be open for most services, answering telephones, and checking email during normal office hours. If unsure, it is ALWAYS A BEST MEASURE TO CALL PRIOR TO VISITING THE OFFICE.

2- We will be limiting the number of staff and patients occupying the office throughout the day. We will achieve this by having patients use their vehicles as virtual waiting rooms for appointments or other in-office visits. We will continue our curbside product pick-ups and also perform eyeglass repairs and adjustments without entry when possible. We are requesting that just the patient themselves enter the office alone, unless it is a minor child and they would need to be accompanied by an adult.

3- We are requiring all individuals entering the office to be wearing appropriate masks at all times. We are requesting the use of office supplied hand sanitizer upon entry and everyone will undergo a risk assessment and non-contact temperature screening. We are respecting social distancing of 6 feet whenever possible.

4- All eyeglass frames touched in the process of frame selection will be placed in bins and will be thoroughly disinfected and then subsequently UV-C treated before being displayed again.

5- We are performing most tasks over the phone including payments, medical history interviews the day prior to the appointment, as well as other services. We request patients to call our office prior to visiting, as entry to the building will be limited to a specific number of patients at a time.

6- We are cleaning our office after every patient encounter with hospital-grade disinfectants. We have plexiglass shields installed in various areas around the office. We have medical-grade air purifiers in every room.  We have numerous contactless payment options. Staff members have completed infection control training and are handwashing hourly at a minimum.
